I touched the golden ray of the sun
wishing for the opening of cosmic gates,
future has emerged and I saw before me
changes of the beings, cosmogonic ones.

In 1985, the "Megas Seirios" publishing house was founded, under the auspices of the “Servers’ Society”, a nonprofit society founded in 1980 by the poet and philosopher Dimitris Kakalidis. With a view to the dissemination of spirituality, it remains open daily for almost three decades now, welcoming anyone who is in search for a new way of life, based on a concise and simple philosophical approach that notes that our nature is spiritual and that is why we can always be well.

In order to achieve this aim, alongside other activities of the Society, "Megas Seirios" publishes books which, like beating hearts, convey the teaching and speak about unalloyed truths which provide solutions to human problems of everyday life. They are, for the most part, studies/analyses of a philosophical/spiritual content, as well as literary texts, poems, novels and essays.

"Megas Seirios" Publications have received a plethora of reviews from the literary and political world of the country for their contribution to Literature and Philosophy through the books. Dedications and analytical presentations have been made by the media, praising both the books' thematology and the simple way of conveying a new attitude and position towards everyday life. The books “The Man's Role in Contemporary Society”, “The Woman's Role in Contemporary Society” and “The Couple's Role in Contemporary Society” have been approved by the Ministry of Education and Religion to be distributed in the school libraries of the country.

The books are also donated to Public Libraries within and outside Greece, as well as to school libraries, correctional facilities, writers, academics, politicians etc. Titles of the books translated into English already circulate and are available internationally.

In 2009 in the main hall of the Philological Association "Parnassos", the Publications celebrated their many years of presence in philosophy and poetry with a presentation of their overall work. In 1993 the same Association had honored the poet, philosopher and founder of the Society, Dimitris Kakalidis. A presentation of the philosophical, poetic and essay-work of Dimitris Kakalidis took place on the 1st March 2010 from the poet and writer Mrs. Eleni Apostolidou - Loukatou in an event organized by the National Association of Greek Literary Writers.

The poems of Dimitris Kakalidis, with their wealth of meanings, resonate in the reader and raise him up above outward forms. You encounter words which have truths concealed behind them, and which however often you read them, always have something new to say... The critics of his literary work have not confined themselves to the recognition of his talent and his knowledge. They have called him a mystagogue and a teacher who educates man and leads him to spiritual progress. In his books “The Wisdom of the Narrative” and “The Wisdom of the Poem”, through an analysis of narratives and poems by Greek writers, he opens up new horizons of understanding and penetration in literature. Critics refer to them as the starting of a new school, a new “path that braches out to universal currents”. His books received a warm welcome from intellectuals.

The rest of the books are written by members of the “Servers’ Society”, inspired by the life and work of the Master Dimitris Kakalidis, by their discipleship and their inner development. They refer to the spiritual principles that they are being taught and to their personal experiences in putting these principles into practice.

The President of the Society, Klairi Lykiardopoulou, conveys her own experiences from her discipleship with the Master Dimitris Kakalidis in her books in the series “The Master”. In her other books she deals with various topics, such as human relationships, the importance of education, man's relation with money, problems of the planet, etc. Her purpose is always the recognition and expression of the true nature of man, of his entity.

The book “Experiences of a Spiritual Healer”, by Ms Kiki Keramida, is a chronicle of her work as a spiritual healer, from her training with the Master up until her total devotion to the task of spiritual healing and helping other people. Ms Ioanna Dimakou, in her book “The Path from Fear to Fearlessness” describes how she overcame her fears and then helped others with similar problems. In the book “Seeking… from A to Z”, Ms Mina Gouvatsou-Karekou, following the teachings’ way of analysis presents how daily matters can be approached through the synthesis of science and philosophy.
