The Master, Dimitris Kakalidis, was born on the first day of 1943. United with the one nature of all beings and all things in life, which is the One Being, he reveals the path to this union. To achieve this purpose, he founded the Servers’ Society in the heart of Athens, where he taught a new philosophy, a way of life that can be applied every moment to every aspect of our everyday life.

He teaches us how to discover and broaden our conscience, how to perceive life through both heart and mind and thus combine all of its aspects. He taught acceptance and immediate response towards all needs, and that spirit exists in all things alike. The teaching he gave is a true synthesis, and that is why it is pioneering.

He wrote compilations of poems that praise the spirit and innovative analyses of literary works that broaden the horizons of understanding the concepts of writing. In 1993, an event took place at the Philological Association "Parnassos" to honor his spiritual contribution in literature.

He died in 1995 without, however, abandoning his work, as he was not only a natural person, but the Master – Conscience.

The teaching is simple and can be applied in every single moment and in every aspect of our lives. It is based on the potentiality we all have to learn and express our spiritual nature, and to acknowledge the exact same potential in our fellow man.

The learning is continuous, even when we breathe. To understand this is a new way of life, and that is why this life-time learning brings wholeness by revealing our true selves.

We learn to perceive all things in life as they really are and not as they appear underneath innumerable veils of likes and dislikes, to accept all situations and to act dynamically. Thus we learn to be conscious in our every breath, in every form of expression and so to be truly free.

The teaching reveals a path suitable to each of us, in order to find our way to express our spiritual nature. As we understand and practice the teaching, we advance towards union with the One Being, learning how to always be well, and that is the experience we convey to others.

For the handing on of the teaching, the Groups for the Study of the Self, which are attended by members of the Society, were set up. In these, basic lessons in self-knowledge and meditation are given.

For the instilling and implementation of the teaching, other groups also operate, such as the Group for Meditation on Planetary Issues, the Role-playing Group and the Group for the Showing and Analysis of Films.

Furthermore, groups such as the Group for Meditational Relaxation, the Literary Analysis Group, the Free Discussion Group, the Group for the Analysis of Music and the Group with the subject "The true nature of woman" may also be attended by non members, free of charge. Through these groups, the teaching of the Society comes to be understood as a practical philosophy applicable in everyday life.

Because service is a basic principle of the teaching the Spiritual Healing Section was created. At the same time, a Volunteers' Group has been formed to provide assistance to unable people in hospitals as well as the Society's Blood Bank in cooperation with the "Laiko" Hospital.

At times, the Recreation Group of the Society gives perfomances at children’s care institutes for free.

Seminars outside Athens are held at regular intervals, with a view to the revealing of spirituality as a different method of approach to everyday life.



In order to disseminate spirituality, the "Megas Seirios" publishing house was set up. The books "Spiritual Healing", "The Master 1" and "The Path from Fear to Fearlessness" have recently been translated and published in English and they are available worldwide.

Megas Seirios Publications have presented their overall work during an event organized in the Philological Association "Parnassos" in March, 20th. During a true night of anniversary, dedicated to spirit, poetry and literature, distinguished poets and literary authors of the country have attended and participated so as to celebrate the 28 year- presence of the Publications and honor the poet and Master Dimitris Kakalidis.

The Spiritual Healing Section has functioned almost from the time when the Society was set up, selflessly providing help to anyone who asks for it.

Members who wish to become healers join this section. They attend a training group and work systematically for those who seek help through Spiritual Healing.

Spiritual healing, as stated in the subtitle of the homonymous book published by Megas Seirios, is a human potential in theory and practice, since the healers’ work is to channel spiritual energy to the patient in order for him to be cured.

And this is actually the cure, as the cause of every illness is lack of knowledge and expression of our spiritual nature, which obstructs the flow of the soul energies and forces.

A vast amount of work has been done by the healing section of the Servers' Society. Many people have received healing by contact or at a distance from the Society's spiritual healers and have been helped in problems with their health - physical and psychological, as can be seen from the letters of thanks from patients.

The task of the Master Dimitris Kakalidis and of the Servers’ Society is that every individual should recognise in himself and others their common ontological nature, so that this can emerge and be expressed dynamically and unimpeded at every moment. In this way, man can be at all times well and can convey this experience of inner freedom and fulfillment to those around him.

In the light of this aim, in the three decades for which the Servers’ Society has been operating, an impressive task has been achieved, and still continues to be achieved today in a selfless way by the Master's disciples, who were inspired by him and have devoted their lives to the application and spread of his teaching.

Many people, members and otherwise, have improved their relations with their self by recognizing its spiritual nature and in that way overcoming phobias, insecurities, and limitations which had trapped them. They have improved relations with their partner, and their families, and have solved problems in their workplace, as well as financial and other problems and have achieved a better way of life. People with health problems, physical and psychological, have been healed and have taken part dynamically in life again.

Patients in hospital, unable to accommodate themselves, receive assistance on a daily basis by the Volunteers' Group that has been formed by members of the Society, thus giving them hope and courage. Regular blood donations take place, in collaboration with the Laïko Hospital, to build up the Society's Blood Bank, which responds to many needs. From time to time, the Recreation Group also functions; this stages, on a non-profit basis, theatre performances at children's institutions.

The 'Megas Seirios' publishing house donates a large number of books to schools, municipal libraries, university libraries within and outside Greece, to reformatory establishments, and to writers, academics, and politicians in Greece and abroad. Also, our books are being translated in English and they are available worldwide.

The teaching of the Master Dimitris Kakalidis, as handed on and put into practice through the work of the Servers’ Society is a composite teaching applicable in everyday life that leads each person to express his real self and to live the constant miracle.
